The Chester Orchestral Society and the Chester Philharmonic Orchestra needs your help!

In order to continue providing classical music experiences to the people of Chester and district at very reasonable cost the Society are asking for practical help from our patrons.

You can support THE CHESTER PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA in the following ways:

In addition the Orchestra runs an e-mail newsletter.

Associate member.

Associate membership is by subscription entitling you to secure your own reserved top price seat for the season's concerts together with being informed of the Society's activities through a mailing list. We also offer 3 for the price of 2 at £24 if you cannot come to all four concerts in the season.

Coming with relatives and friends? Ask us to hold neighbouring seats until shortly before each concert so that you can sit together.

Concert Organisation.

The organisation of concerts is the responsibility of a small committee made up of playing members, but on the evening of the performance we are totally dependent on friends of the Society to provide "Front of House" services. These include manning the ticket desk, selling programmes and acting as stewards. If you would like to help then please .

Corporate sponsorship.

The orchestra is continually seeking support for its work, either through sponsorship of individual concerts or an entire season, or donating such things as printing costs, publicity, transport or soloist's fees. Excellent corporate entertainment facilities can be provided and small orchestral ensembles are available to play at your functions.

The concert programmes have to be produced at a loss to the Society because of a lack of sponsorship. If you wish to take out an advertisement in the programme or know someone who would wish to please contact us.

The cost of an advertisement is very reasonable at between £30 and £50 for a whole season and also includes two premium-priced tickets for a concert of your choice. In this way you can help the Society to keep its costs down, promote your business, claim the money back from the taxman and invite two friends (or take your partner) to a concert at no extra cost.
